As Idaho and Wyoming’s largest mushroom grower, Morning Dew Mushrooms focuses on growing a variety of mushrooms using the best proven indoor cultivation equipment and techniques. The growers constantly adjust and improve their equipment due to the dry and chilly Idaho climate. Morning Dew Micros grows organic microgreens to provide fresh greens throughout the year to the area.
Sarah and Patrick McDonnell, the cultivators behind Morning Dew Mushrooms and Micros, come from various farming, gardening, and carpentry backgrounds. The duo share a love for foraging mushrooms, however, they wanted to explore further into growing a crop that could be cultivated year-round in Idaho. The couple take advantage of the beautiful Teton area and everything their community has to offer! A love for both growing and providing mushrooms and microgreens to local restaurants and markets is the passion behind Morning Dew Mushrooms and Micros. Holden is Such an excellent helper around the farm and Hazel is learning the ropes!
