Sarah and Patrick McDonnell, the cultivators behind Morning Dew Mushrooms, come from various farming, gardening, and carpentry backgrounds. The duo share a love for foraging mushrooms, however, they wanted to explore further into growing a crop that could be cultivated year-round in Idaho. The couple take advantage of the beautiful Teton area and everything their community has to offer! A love for both growing and providing mushrooms to local restaurants and markets is the passion behind Morning Dew Mushrooms. Their newest baby mushroom farmer, Holden Haze, is learning the ropes!
Located in the heart of the Tetons, the growers spread mushrooms throughout their community and provide mushrooms to Idaho, Wyoming , and Montana. Our farm constantly changes and improves our equipment due to the dry and chilly Idaho climate, but we sure have found that sweet spot for mushroom growing in the Tetons.
